Some of my favorite Gospel sermons and Youtube videos are at Turn to God.

A very good starting study Bible. I had always wanted to read through the entire Bible. I was able to do it with this study Bible. Good notes, articles, great concordance and I really love the format.
This was my second study Bible and I highly recommend it. Not as many verse by verse study notes as the ESV (below) but they are much more in depth.

A great study Bible that I highly recommend. Plenty of study notes and it has many really excellent articles. Also a lot of diagrams, maps and tables. Please note the size\weight...this is big. Also includes the internet version.
This book covers Christian theology from A-Z. Topics are broken down into small chapters. This book goes really deep into the topics. Take a look at the Amazon description and reviews, 700+ pages. I really like the authors writing style and have gained much from this book.

If God has changed your life you will want to get this book to understand what has happened. Short, concise and very readable.
A much shorter book than the one above but very comprehensive and readable.

A really good book on the Gospel with thorough explanations of many of the parables Jesus taught.
I have read several books on the attributes of God. This is by far the best (deep and concise).

A great little book that explains the Gospel.  Know what God has done for you in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Before I started reading the Bible I read the books below.

Book starts out slow ... keep reading ... gets really good.
Here is a good book that discusses why Christianity is credible.

Good explanations to the problems in the world today.
Overwhelming evidence that the universe and everything in it has been designed.

More to the point and with less story line than the "Case for" books, but this book has all the information and more rolled up into one package. Well done and presents information using logical and cause and effect arguments.
