I am the controller at a midsize aluminum die casting plant, Texas Die Casting. When the Company started doing TOC and LEAN I wanted to make the improvements more visible to all the employees. So I started documenting some of these improvements on this site. Then I would print out the web pages (English and Spanish-Altavisa translator) and post on the bulletin boards. This information would also be forwarded to Human Resources for input in the next newsletter.
When we do our in-house training on TOC and LEAN the examples also help people to see how to apply the theory.
Making improvements and getting recognition just makes you feel good. With TOC and LEAN we plan to have many more feel good moments now and in the future.
